This was followed by <em>No Limits to Learning<\/em> in 1979, which emphasised the need to bridge the &#8220;human gap&#8221;\u2014the disparity between our ability to transform reality and our understanding of the consequences.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Today, we face multiple existential threats, including climate change, biodiversity loss, social inequalities, and geopolitical tensions. To tackle these challenges, we must change how we think and learn. The Club of Rome, The Fifth Element, and WEEC Network have launched <em>No Limits to Hope<\/em>, a global initiative that aims to inspire educators, learners and citizens to pursue a global shift in learning paradigms to address humanity&#8217;s most pressing challenges.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>No Limits to Hope<\/em> seeks to bridge the \u201chuman gap\u201d between knowledge and action and re-examine humanity&#8217;s quest for meaning and a good life. Through exploring new collaborative learning and problem-solving methods, the project hopes to catalyse cultural change, facilitate transformative learning, and create new knowledge.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>A call for contributors<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">To reach these ambitious objectives, we invite researchers, educators, and practitioners who have explored new learning paradigms and their ability to foster systemic transformation for better futures on both the local and international scales to submit research proposals, papers, and case studies for consideration by 31 March 2025.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Abstract\u202f(250-300 words) Submission Deadline: 17 April 2025&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Notification of abstract acceptance: 15 May 2025&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Longer contribution<\/strong> (1500-4000 words, biography included): 30 June 2025&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Review Period: March \u2013 October 2025.
