The Club of Rome is a participating partner in the 2024 Global Ethics Forum in Geneva, Switzerland. The forum is an essential platform to explore the future of the world and humanity from an ethical leadership perspective. It is grounded in an evidence-based understanding of current realities and the belief in a just, inclusive, and sustainable future for all. The forum responds to the urgent need for ethical leadership to navigate the multifaceted challenges of our time, including global polarisation, environmental crises, and the rise of new technologies like artificial intelligence (AI).
The event will feature discussions on peace, sustainability, the digital revolution, and higher education, all through the lens of ethical leadership. Particular emphasis will be placed on intercultural dialogue, societal engagement for depolarisation and conflict prevention, the impact of AI on higher education, and the role of ethical leadership beyond compliance frameworks. The forum will bring together over 50 speakers from various sectors, including governments, international organisations, businesses, philanthropy, academia, and civil society.
