Voices for Peace: From Conflict to Transformation is a webinar series that explores emerging perspectives on peacebuilding, with a focus on systems thinking, youth leadership, and the concept of Planetary Peace. Drawing from both global frameworks and grassroots experiences, the series aims to deepen understanding of peace as a multidimensional and interconnected process.
Guided by the principles of the Youth, Peace and Security (YPS) agenda, the series creates space for dialogue between young leaders, scholars, and practitioners working to build inclusive, just, and sustainable peace in their communities and beyond. Each session will address different dimensions of peacebuilding, offering participants the opportunity to engage with expert insights and share reflections across sectors and generations.

Every school has the power to be more than a place of learning — it can be a home for dignity, justice, and peace.
Through human rights education, Amnesty International shows how young people and educators can foster youth leadership and build more just, peaceful societies.
In our next webinar series Voices for Peace: The Human Rights Friendly Schools Experience, Amnesty International will share a model of how education can embed human rights at the core of school life.
Together, we’ll explore:
- How young people can lead rights-based initiatives
- How schools can become active agents of change in their communities
- Key lessons from the Human Rights Friendly Schools Program that can inspire change globally

Colonial legacies & climate change: how Indigenous and Global South voices are pushing back
For Greenpeace Africa, decolonising peacebuilding means challenging unfair systems that still affect African countries today.
In this episode, alongside experts, we explore the importance of uplifting Indigenous knowledge, including voices that are often ignored, and pushing for fair and local solutions. This approach not only helps fight environmental destruction but also supports the wider goals of justice, sovereignty and climate action.
This webinar will bring together scholars, activists, and community leaders to share ideas and solutions for peace, justice, and climate action, all through a decolonial approach.

Organising in polarised communities
How can we organise for justice and peace when disinformation divides us and hate speech floods our feeds?
In this session, we explore:
- What polarisation means and how it affects organising
- The drivers and actors behind depolarisation
- Practical tools to rebuild trust and collective strength
Join Maryam (Egypt) and Matteo (Belgium) from Roots as they share approaches to depolarisation, peaceful online engagement and collective resilience.
