Weaving session: DANCING WITH PARADIGMS

Carlos Alvarez Pereira is joining the Weaving Lab to lead a session of exploration of The Fifth Element programme.

Carlos is the Secretary General of The Club of Rome, where he leads The Fifth Element programme, promoting mutual transformation across silos of disciplines, cultures, geographies and generations, towards equitable wellbeing for all on a peaceful and healthy planet.

He recently co-authored the first discussion paper of The Fifth Element, an attempt to comprehensively address many different aspects and perspectives on systemic change. While the paper brings many more questions than answers, it is also an invitation for a wide community to work on responses to matters that have been challenging the effectiveness, direction and ultimate outcomes of purposeful transformations.

In this Weaving Session, you will learn about the different weaving dimensions that The Fifth Element programme has been involved in, discuss some of the profound and burning questions it’s living and explore how all these elements reflect in our own weaving practices.
